Possible Business Card?

I'm in the process of making business cards....what a chore! =) I'm probably going to have about 10 to choose from since I'm the type of person that can't make a decision for the life of me. LOL! Here's one of them....more to come later. Whatcha think (no wording yet) but do you like the photo? Would it intrigue you to call me or would you toss it?

On a side note....I'm loosing creativity again so I'm vowing to have my camera attached to my hip this weekend and work through it. =)

I've had a bunch of people asking and emailing me about backlighting tips....I PROMISE I will post what I do by Monday. I don't claim to know everything about it....sometimes it's just luck so bare with me. LOL!! =)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.....have fun and be safe! =)

Love the card! Here's an idea why don't you use different photos?
I'm thinking of doing this - the information and name on the card will be the same but the photos will stay current and interesting.

I really like it. I think you are done, other than adding the details to the card. Hey, I have a question. Do you smoothen the skin on your pictures? If so, with what?

Brenda - those eyes are so striking; it's perfect for your card. I used overnightprints.com and was really wow'ed by the quality of their cards (glossy and heavy paper) for a very reasonable price (and they were fast too!).

Cheers!

hey there I love your blog and although I am a relatively new lurker.. i thought i would contribute. I have had 4 businesses and cards/stationary is one of the hardest things to nail!

If using photos.. I keep the following in mind. Your client wants to see themselves in your work. In the gallery and in the card. Choose a photo where age is less obvious (I think baby photographer when I see that *adorable* pic) I have a toddler/child and didn't identify with your straight off. I would also lose the copyright circle.
Double sided cards let you keep the front text to a minimum or nothing at all. (I would stick that on my fridge!) and put the text on the back. I personally think either go with several different children/ages/photos depending on costs (often you get 250 min of one design) and if you only get one.. maybe go with the little girl looking down. Hard to pick if she is 3 or 8.. good range. classic clothing and a nice balance of what you do. GOOD LUCK
