Why is so hard.....

to do your own Christmas cards? Anyone? I've been getting some client ones together I think with no problem, but with me, I can't get anything I like!!! =( I think by the time I figure something out, I may have to send them as Happy New Year cards! LOL!!

Anywho...long time, no see huh? We attempted to do some photos for the cards and as you can tell, she was less than happy to work with me. LOL!! But doesn't she look older or is it just me?

OH, and as I was reading the comments from the previous post....I realized some of you guys are from UK and Petapillar is from New Zealand and Jesse is from Germany! Yeah, I just thought of something.....I'm global! LOL!! OK...I need a break, some sleep and a cocktail...I'm seriously loosing brain cells daily....forgive me! So I hope you guys just had a HAPPY DAY!! =)
Hugs,
Bren

She does look older! But she's so cute and I love the messy buns! (can't wait until I can do that to my dd's hair!).

I know what you mean by our own Christmas cards being the hardest! I had to have friend take our pictures and I ended up with a few I like enough to use for our card!

Good luck! Can't wait to see!

She looks like a little model in this picture and yes, she does look alot older. I hope it is ok to post a comment here. I am a pea on TPS (HopeFaith), I love your work and I always check your blog for new posts. I have never posted a comment to a blog, I hope it's ok. I can't wait to see the card you come up with, I am sure it will be really nice. Amber

I thought so too but I think its just the outfit. I'm in denial(LOL). Gracie would love the idea that she's older. Gracie, Don't grow up yet!!!

Love the pictures, Brenda. As always. BTW, My husband loves your curtain and we're buying one like you have. I kept on telling him its nice(before I saw yours) but when he saw Gracie's Backlighthing shot(I left your article lying on the sofa for reading), he agreed. Gracie is selling products now LOL!

I think it's the sweater that makes her look older.....but so cute. I totally agree with the fact that it's so hard to do your own cards....I've been collecting ideas all year, and now that it's time to do it, I can't seem to find a way to get all 3 kids together at the same time. Good luck....can't wait to see how they turn out.

Brenda - I wish you lived in the Chicago area - I think we would be great friends! :) I was JUST sitting down for some web surfing time after my daughter went to bed, with a cocktail in hand, thinking about how today I shot 3 family members card photos successfully and still don't have my own!!! :)

Though I bet we could all admit we all probably have about 20 images that your "average" person might think are great card photos....but they just aren't "the one" for us photog nutso's....

And you are right...she does look older in that pic!
