Well, I can get a turtle to smile at me.....

but not Sam! LOL!!

We went to the Dallas Aquarium last week...I've lived in the Dallas area for close to 25 years and have never been there! That's so wrong!! It was awesome....so cool to see all the animals, though I did stay clear of the snakes! LOL!!

One of my favs...

Some of you Aussie might reconize this one....

And Happy Feet has nothing on this little guy!

And what would a post be without photos of Gracie....

Last one...

Goodness, that was a lot of photos!! LOL!!

Awwww...thank you everyone! =)

LOL Tiffany....I thought that to when I opened it up. I have one of her just like it when I first started out and it's no of my all-time favs. =)

Michelle...glad you like the actions....thanks sweetie!!

Toni....no flash! I will never use that thing even for a fill flash. LOL!! The ones that were for the dark tanks were all shot at 1/125, 3.2 and 1600. Outside the ISO was between 400 and 800. I hope that helps. =)

Thanks again everyone!

Wow, my aquarium photos never even come close to these... But you are "Brenda" so leave it to you to get great shots even through glass and dark places. :) Someone else made the comment that now they know it can be done and I think that's how I feel too. We have passes to our local aquarium and you can bet I will be trying harder next time we go! Thanks for the inspiration. BEAUTIFUL photos and so interactive, as odd as that seems to capture at an aquarium. :)

Had to comment again to tell you that when my daughter (3 yrs. old)sees me reading people's blogs, she likes to get up on my lap and look along with me... Actually, she takes over the computer and scrolls and clicks on photos herself. Since this post, she now asks for the fish and she could just look at these photos forever! She also likes looking at your Gracie... Her best friend is also named Gracie, but she has always called her Cee-Cee. So your daughter has been renamed Cee-Cee too!
