My not-so-perfect little angel.....
Yes, she has her faults......picky eater (that's from Daddy), she's NEVER had a hamburger! The only chicken she'll eat is from Chic-fa-lay, McDonald's and Wendy's (it gets a little pricey). She still wakes up in the middle of the night and comes in our room and scares the living day lights out of me when I see her just standing there staring at me. She never seems to wake Daddy up....why's that? And can you believe I argue with a 5 year-old and she usually wins? She's very STUBBORN (again that's from Daddy), but she can be the sweetest little thing! She mothers Sam like she's her own personal live-doll always trying to help me out, and she's always willing for photos (sometimes with a small bribe) because she knows Mommy needs to practice. She picks up her toys (only after being told to about 5 times, but she does it) and she's always handing out kisses and hugs! =) We just LOVE her to pieces and we blessed that she picked us to be her Mommy and Daddy. =)

twice today I stopped by your blog and got to see the cuteset pictures ever!! You do such GREAT work! Thank you for sharing!
Brenda! These are gorgeous!
I love your banner on your blog so beautiful. And that baby's eyes wow! I was just wondering where did you get that set of angel wings they are so cute.
Ahh I can never, NEVER get enough of angel wings. I have a HUGE collection LOL.. I should use them again soon.
I loooove that first one. The lighting on the wings looks so fantastic, really brings out the texture of each individual feather.
I almost spit out my hot choc when I read that she comes into your room and just stares at you in the middle of the night LOL. I shouldn't laugh.. but Madison does the EXACT same thing and it scares the bejeezus out of me. I wake up to these eerie little eyes peering at me and almost have a heart attack.
She sounds like a brilliant little model for you.
brenda, love your stuff. it is all so fun. do you do anything to make the color pop in your pictures? i am yet to see anything you do that I don't like.
Love your pictures and the story behind them. I just became a blogger and was wondering how you added the pictures at the top of you blog? If you get a chance I would love to learn the trick from you. I found your blog from a friend of mine. Thanks, themabeinme.blogspot.com
Since I've had the priviledge of meeting her, I can say that you ARE lucky parents to have her. She is the sweetest soul. Soft, gentle, but with a spark, too. And a dream to photograph!
these are fab brenda! ;)
we need to get these kids together on thursday - she sounds just like ally!
That is oh so sweet Brenda...my younger daughter is like her...she'll stick to me like a leech but I love it :P
Beautiful pictures. She sounds alot like my 5 year old. and my 1 year old has that same skirt.
These are wonderful. I'm particularly fond of her hair that way... it always looks so cute, and now I have my nieces wearing their hair like that too! Great pictures as always.
LOVE the boots with the wings. It makes the girl a real texan. :)
She is such a doll. She sounds alot like MJ and yet it is their personalities (difficult or sweet) that make us love them that much more.
oh and congrats on doing a wedding . Yes. It is alot of pressure. Where can I see the rest?
Thank you so much Danielle! =)
Shannon,
You're too funny...thanks sweetie!
Victoria...thanks so much too! =)
Brenda,
When I saw your post I was like, I didn't respond...what's up! I'm dense, it took me some time to realize it wasn't me! LOL!! I got the angel wings from a local place around here but if you google The Feather Place...they sell the exact same ones. =)
Amanda,
I would love to get my hands on some of those fabulous dresses that you have for Madison...the closest think I have is Gracie's Snow White costume from Halloween! LOL!! =) That's nice to know that Gracie isn't the only one that does that...it's freaky that's for sure. I'm lucky I'm a light sleeper because I'm sure she'd stand there all night without saying a peep until I woke up. =)
Stace,
I play with some selective color and I either do a dup layer color burn or soft light and just adjust the opacity to what I like. It really depends on the photo...I usually don't do the same thing to everyone. =)
Anne,
You're so sweet! Thank you so much! =)
Amy,
Hopefully we can get together this Thursday...I'm planning on it! =)
Shionge,
Awww...isn't it sweet, but I think she's got me hoodwinked...she's a little to smart for her own good...I sometimes don't trust her as far as I could throw her (not that I ever would). =)
Shannon,
Thanks sweetie....Target? LOVE that place! =)
Christie,
Thanks too....I just recently was able to do her hair like that and you should see it at the end of the day...one ponytail halfway in and the other one just barely hangin' on. =)
HaHa Sarah....you've got that right! She's a true Texan! =)
Thanks Shelley! I'll post some on here, but don't laugh, they don't even compare to yours! =)
Also, when I get a chance, I'll post the instruction on how to insert your own header...I've gotten a ton of emails asking how to do it and I think this way will save me a lot of typing! =)
Thanks everyone! =)
