Want to hear something funny?
OK....so Gracie's homeroom mom and I were talking the other day and she told me she had to tell me something that she thought I'd get a kick out of......
I little background info to set this up.....each week in Gracie's class is a student of the week. The teacher sends home a blank piece of posterboard and you're suppose to put a photo of your child on it and help them write their favorite color, about their family and all that fun stuff. So of course being me....I put one of my favs of her on it. I don't think you've seen it but it's with my red seamless and she's wearing her famous piggiebuns and giving herself a big hug....very cute if I do say so myself! LOL!!
OK....so here's the conversation that took place between the two of them:
Miss Shirley: "Gracie, I like that picture of you.....did you have it done somewhere or did your mom take it?"
Gracie: "My mommy took it."
Miss Shirley: "Wow....is she a professional photographer?"
Gracie: "She tries!"
LOL.....I can't even get the respect from a 5 year old.....talk about a downer in confidence!!

Oh my gosh! After seeing picture after picture of Gracie on your blog, I feel like I "know" her personality, and I can just see her saying this. That is so funny.
too funny! well, rest assured, you are a pro to just about everyone else! just think where you were a year ago - that should put things in perspective! (remember LIMBO? can't get anything to post at ILP, trouble sizing my blog pix...aargh!)
anywho - that little one must keep you on your toes!
I am right there with ya on that one! Similar situations have come up with my kiddos and they give the same response...usually. kids will say the darndest things won't they...we just love them!

OH MY GOD!!!! I don't know what to say! I am so laughing out loud right now. I think gracie thinks you are just playing "Pretend" on the pictorials. You are great, Brenda, I guess you just have to work harder to please, Gracie. show us the picture, please!! =)
Don't feel bad... You always hear of Hollywood Stars talking about how their kids are unimpressed with them... hee hee! Kids help us moms stay humble. ;-)

Ha Ha... sounds like Jessi, my daughter... she was the same way, that is so funny.
Too funny...kids get you in the most trouble. Makenzie once told her pre school class that Mommy and Daddy "wrestle" a lot at night when she is sleeping! I turned about 4 shades of red when her teacher told me that! And yes....please show the picture.

Psssstt......hey Gracie, You are right- Your Mommy does try, she has been working really hard the last year :) If she didn't try, she wouldn't be the amaizing professional that she is today- You shoud go give your Mommy lots of sweet sugary kisses and bear tight hugs :) :) ;)
