Posting on the weekend.....

there's a first for everything! =)

First and foremost, I just want to thank everyone for the wonderful and kind words that you've left on my blog, or through an email....it means so much to me that you all take the time to do it....so THANK YOU! =) And get this, my stat counter says that I have reached over 105,000 hits...WOW!! So for all of you that just lurk...leave a comment or if you have a question, ask away. =)

Now, hopefully you'll get a kick out of this...I walked into her room and she was like this. Apparently, she's a "ghost hunter!" HMMMM...not sure where she got that quirky idea in her head but I can give her this....she's full of imagination! =)

The color conversion is from Amy Howe's new conversions....love them! And the b/w is my b/w 2 conversion. =)

I've been tagged by Jeanette to list 5 things you didn't know about me so I'll have to think about those and get back to ya. =)

And finally Frederique has challenged some of us to post our favorite 5-10 photos of 2006 with less than 5 words caption to describe them. This should be hard but I'm up for a fun challenge. Go and check out her post on Dec. 8....it's very inspiring. I think if you are a person that is forever in search of your style you should play along. You'll find that your favs will usually have something in common, meaning you are defining your own personal style. =)

Oh my goodness - those pictures are priceless! It's good to know that a ghost hunter wears a tiara...I'll have to keep that in mind. :)

I'm off to check out Frederique's blog. I have been struggling with defining my style...so it sounds perfect for me.

oh, and I'm a big lurker.
But I've posted a handful of comments, and bought your actions...
so can I think that counts as not being a "lurker" anymore, right?

Hi--
I am another lurker (and really enjoy your blog). Have you been reading the Arminta Spookie books by Angie Sage to her. The first one is all about ghost hunting and her special "kits" I have recently read the first two to my 1st grader.

Brenda, all of your pictures have such a magical quality to them. I hope you know that you have a very special gift. As for the actions, I love your actions. I'm new to PS, so I'm still figuring out how to tailor them as I go. I'm also loving what you did with the color actions from this post. Which of Amy's new color conversions did you use on these pictures of Gracie. They are beautiful pictures.

Well, I'm another lurker! I love the idea of having to wear a tiara if I were to choose my profession as a ghost hunter! Too cute.

I love your work, you've been an inspiration to me since I began posting on peas earlier this year. I just can't believe what an amazing photographer you became in such a short time. I hope I can do the same

Thank you everyone! =)

Elizabeth.....if she could get away with wearing that tiara all day, she would! =)

Thank you Jamie! =)

Miranda...I'm in the same boat! I can pick 5 or 10 a session but for the whole year...YIKES!

Chelo, Melissa, Angelique, Amy,
Tiffany, Rona, Sherri and Stephanie...you girls ROCK...thank you! =)

Julie....thank you sweetie! =)

Amy, do it and let us know when you post them! It's funny, it's hard for us to find a style but usually others can see one. =)

Amy....we do! Let's make plans after the holidays....I'll email ya. =)

Nope Kimberly....you're not a lurker! =) LOL!!

Thanks for commenting Robin....no don't be shy again. =) No, I don't have those books...I wonder if her teacher is reading them too her. HMMM....I'll have to see. =)

Alisha and Leah...she's a hoot isn't she? LOL!! Most of the stuff she's wearing are from Happy Meals! =)

Nmb....thank you! I'm going to check out your blog too...thanks for the link. =)

AWWW....thank you Susan...that was sooo nice to say. =) If you have any questions about my actions, just email me. With Amy's I actually used the Lighten the Load one and ran the Booster Seat one last. I then went to my history palette and deleted the flatten layer and adjust the opacity to my liking. I really dig her actions...love the tones and shadows they give. =)

Thank you Chris! And wouldn't the world be a much happier place if we all wear tiaras? LOL!!

Hallwood and Jess....good to have you girls aboard! =) Thank you too....if you ever have any questions (any of you guys), just email me. =) You guys made my day today with all the wonderful comments. =) And don't worry Jess, we all get in a funk...it's part of the growing experience. =)

P.S. Are you see storm in Europe? It's a horror...

The idea of the "Global World" where borders matter less and less is not
just making those from so called "developing countries" go to the "1st world countries".
In fact there is a lot of a big appeal for people from all lines of work to move to
places like Thailand, Malaysia, or Bali. Your dollargoes 4 times further
in places that may have more to offer than the "1st world".
So why aren't you on the next plane?
