Gracie had her dress rehearsal last night....she was so excited! It's hard to explain to a 5 year old that that wasn't the ACTUAL recital....that she gets to do it again! =)
They were sooo cute! Their part is really short...they have to sit for a couple minutes and then they do their thing which is about 1 minute long. Teaching ballet to a bunch of 5 year olds is hard....and you know their attention span is about the size of a pea! =)

Oh, that is the cutest thing!!

My 4 year old is in ballet, her recital isn't until May. Although it is finally parent watch day this Saturday, I'm curious to see how she does.

We saw the Nutcracker on Friday night, of course, now her dream is to be in it!

Oh Brenda, you make my day!!!! such wonderful picture. I adore each one of them. I wish I'm 5 so that I can still pull off an outfit like that. Ah, to be a kid.

Who knew a dewdrop could be so adorable. I'm just heading off to see my daughter's dance class. The last five minutes they will be performing a little dance. Can't wait. Which lens did you use?

These just capture the magic of being 5-- wearing a cute little costume and enjoying the limelight. I love these-- that color one is just too sweet!

Thank you everyone! They aren't the best, but I think they'll do. =)

It's so funny watching them practice.....they all have their own little "style" and no matter how much she's practices....it's still the same in the end. LOL!!

Haylee....I have it posted at ILP if you want to take a peek at it. =)

Katie...oh thank you! I hope you day was better. =)

Tiffany...hey, maybe I can swing and get one for you! LOL!! They are itchy though! =)

Jill...I used my 85mm. I wish I had a zoom or the 135mm...I was still to far away and I was right up against the stage wall. How did the dance go.....I bet it was adorable! =)

Suzanne....that's the best part about putting them in dance....the costumes! We actually don't get to keep ours....bummer!

Tricia....I bet it will be adorable! Just think of all the photos ops you'll get to take with it! =)

Laura......you can borrow her! LOL!! I think after you spent a day with her...you'd change your mind. BTW....we travel through St. Louis and I want to book with you the next time we are driving through there...we have family in Godfrey, IL and most of my hubby's cousins go to college in St. Louis. =)

Oh Holly.....little Miss S in dance class.....how adorable would that be! =)

Thanks again everyone! =)

I have one child. I have no desire to have another. BUT i swear everytime i look at photos of G..i start to think how nice a lil girl would be. She is just gorgeous. And those dew drop photos.... Precious! I was in one school play (i dont think it was a starring role like a dew drop).. I think I was 'spec of dust with enough makeup to feel included'LOL but my parents have 1 x 6x4 and I am a blurry dot in the background.. she will treasure these!
